Neo Domino City, one of the largest and most technologically advanced places in Japan.

In close proximity to it is an island called Satellite. For some reason, the town's completely destroyed and it's now treated as the City's junkyard.

... People from Satellite are not allowed to enter the City, as the citizens consider them to be worthless.

... That's the world I come from...

[[ooc: 0.5% spent on general information about his world, 1% on Neo Domino City in all its technological glory, 1% on Satellite and finally, 0.5% on the relationship between the two (i.e. the Urban Segregation). 4% total, 0% remaining.]]

Really? You'd think after the whole slavery and apartheid thing, people would've learned by now.
... They didn't, apparently.
Didn't know Japan had it too, though! What do they do for that sort of stuff anyway? Kick around anyone with bigger eyes than them?
...

[Yuusei finds that comment idiotic and completely ignores it. Therefore, all you get in response is silence.]
Wow! Is this your first time remembering something, Mr. Yuusei? That doesn't sound like the Japan I know at all.
... Is that so?
Uh-huh. I've never even heard of Neo Domino City or Satellite. Those aren't Japanese names, are they?
... English is widely used in Japan.
We hafta learn it in school, but I don't think we've started naming places in English yet, eheh.
"Yet"...

... What year are you from?
1999.
... In the Japan I come from it's 20XX.

[[ooc: As an explanation - no exact date has ever been stated in the series, making it difficult to determine the year. The speculations vary from 2021 to about 2200. I'm assuming the manga actually *does* have something to do with the original anime and say it's 20XX. My guess would be something between 2030 - 2060? tl;dr - he's from the future alright.]]
What?! That's a really long time from now . . . Wow! You've got to tell me all about the future, Mr. Yuusei!
... What do you want to know?
Lots of stuff!

What kind of food do you eat? Do people live in floating cities now? And are there flying cars and underwater hotels? Do people live forever and if they do do they get wings after a few hundred years or so because that's what happened in a book I read when I was really little but big brother said that was just silly but I think it'd be really cool if it were real and do you still have to go to school or do they just inject everything into your brain and does your family own hovercrafts as cool as your motorcycle and if you ................
[Thankfully, most of Takeru's questions can be answered with a single word...]

No.

... I don't remember anything about my family, though.
. . . No? Oh. That's disappointing. Well, I'm sure it's still cool anyway. And I'm sure you're remember more about your family soon, too.
Good to know segregation's still as rampant as always.

... Still, it sounds like an interesting world.
... You think so...?
